Terms of Service

1. Acceptance of these terms

These Terms of Service ("Terms") are an agreement between you and ValBuddy ("the developer", "we"). By downloading or using the ValBuddy mobile app ("the app"), you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the app.

2. The service

ValBuddy is a companion app for Valorant. It displays information related to your Valorant account — such as your daily store rotation, bundles, Night Market offers and wallet balances — on your mobile device. Using the app requires a Riot Games account. ValBuddy is not a game client: it does not modify the game, interact with gameplay, or provide any competitive advantage.

3. No affiliation with Riot Games

ValBuddy isn't endorsed by Riot Games and doesn't reflect the views or opinions of Riot Games or anyone officially involved in producing or managing Riot Games properties. Riot Games, and all associated properties are trademarks or registered trademarks of Riot Games, Inc.

Your use of Valorant and your Riot account remains governed by Riot's own Terms of Service, which you must also comply with while using ValBuddy.

4. License

We grant you a personal, limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable and revocable license to use the app on devices you own or control, for personal, non-commercial purposes. You may not:

You are responsible for your Riot account and credentials. Authentication happens directly between you and Riot on Riot's official login page; we cannot access, recover or restore Riot accounts. If you believe your Riot account has been compromised, contact Riot support.

6. Price

The app and all of its features are free. ValBuddy contains no advertising, no subscriptions and no in-app purchases.

7. Third-party services and availability

The app depends on Riot's APIs and other third-party services that are outside our control and may change, break or become unavailable at any time. Features may therefore stop working partially or entirely without notice. The app is provided without any uptime or availability commitment.

8. Intellectual property

Valorant, its game content and all related assets are the property of Riot Games, Inc. Game data is displayed in accordance with Riot's developer policies. The ValBuddy name, branding, design and code are the property of ValBuddy.

9. Disclaimer of warranties

THE APP IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE", WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, WHETHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT THE APP WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, ERROR-FREE OR THAT DISPLAYED DATA IS ALWAYS ACCURATE OR CURRENT.

10. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, the developer shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special or consequential damages arising out of or related to your use of the app. Because the app is provided free of charge, our total liability for any claim is limited to EUR 10. Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability that cannot be excluded under applicable law, including liability for intent, gross negligence, or injury to life, body or health.

11. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your access to the app if you breach these Terms. You may stop using the app at any time by uninstalling it.

12. Changes, governing law and contact

We may update these Terms from time to time; the date at the top reflects the latest revision, and continued use of the app after changes take effect constitutes acceptance. These Terms are governed by the laws of the European Union, without limiting any mandatory consumer protections of your country of residence. If any provision of these Terms is found unenforceable, the remaining provisions remain in effect.
